Fogo Brazilia

This Central Park restaurant was the flagship for the chain of Quick Service Restaurants inspired by Brazilian churrasco. The experience is based on Brazilian style fire-cooked high quality meat dishes.

The concept for this restaurant was based on the history of churrasco, a culinary tradition from the Rio Grande do Sol where ‘Gauchos’ skewered portions of meat on their knives and cooked them over the coals of the campfire. The idea of gathering around the campfire was the inspiration for the 152 ‘flame-orange’ stools that are individually hung off the walls and the ceiling.

Responsibilities included; design and documentation for construction and the approval process with site supervision during construction.
